Height: Reaches 2 to 3 feet tall (60–90 cm)

Leaf Size: Leaves grow up to 2 feet long (60 cm), narrow and upright

Overview:
Purple Sword is a bold, architectural Alocasia variety with long, serrated-edge leaves that point upward like blades. The deep green tops contrast with rich purple undersides, giving it dramatic color and shape. It's fast-growing in the right conditions and adds height and texture to any collection.

Light: Bright, indirect light promotes strong vertical growth. Tolerates some morning sun but avoid harsh afternoon rays.

Water: Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry. Maintain even moisture, but don’t let the soil stay soggy.

Humidity: Prefers high humidity (60%+). Can adapt to moderate indoor levels but thrives with extra moisture in the air.

Temperature: Best in warm indoor temps between 65–85°F. Protect from sudden drops and drafts.

Soil: A well-draining mix rich in organic matter, with added perlite or bark to improve airflow to the roots.

Fertilizer: Feed every 4 weeks during active growth (spring/summer) using a balanced, diluted liquid fertilizer.

Care Note: Keep an eye out for leaf curl or browning edges—often signs of low humidity or inconsistent watering.
